REDHEADS got free entry to a zoo to mark World Orangutan Day yesterday.

The endangered ginger apes are thriving at Twycross Zoo, Leics, which has just welcomed a new baby. Visitors with dyed hair qualified for the offer, as did those in wigs.

Expert Loraine Miller said: “World Orangutan Day is crucial to help raise awareness about declining orangutan populations.”
