Conor KOS spar shots

CONOR MCGREGOR has refused to hand over sparring footage to US TV ahead of his clash with Floyd Mayweather.

Showtime will screen the fight in the US but Mcgregor’s camp sent only limited clips. That fuelled talk that Mcgregor (above) either does not want to give clues to his tactics or is embarrassed by his standard.

But coach Paschal Collins said: “Conor is unorthodox. We brought in a boxing referee to watch him spar and everything he did was within the rules.

“He’s tough enough and clever enough to go the 12 rounds. The longer he’s in the ring the more chance he has of landing the big shot.”
