Beaten and abused for looking like this monster ...I can’t take it any more Innocent man’s ordeal after being falsely identified as paedophile

-

But he says the abuse started two years ago when predator Luckwill, ranked one of the most dangerous paedophiles in the country by gardai, was released from jail.

David told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “I’ve had abuse hurled at me and objects thrown at me – rocks, iron bars, planks of wood.

“My apartment has been attacked countless times. People I don’t know or have never met shout ‘paedo’ at me in the street and make obscene gestures. This has been going on since Luckwill was let out of Portlaoise Prison two years ago.

“What makes it worse is that he is from Clondalkin and that is where I live. But I want to move away from here as soon as I can because I don’t feel safe.”

David, 49, says he has contacted gardai “a couple of hundred times” over the past few years but unless he can single o u t the perpetrators there is little they can do.

He said: “It’s tricky to identify those doing it because they’re normally in a passing car and when you’re not expecting it you don’t have time to get the registration. It’s a horrible coincidence. There have been very serious threats made to me and attacks on my apartment.

“I am not this paedophile and I will not tolerate any more abuse from people who try to link me with him. I can’t take any more of it. It has to stop.”

Twisted Luckwill, 44, was attacked and beaten by angry parents who discovered he was living near a school in Rathcoole, Co Dublin, last year. He was released from jail after serving two years and nine months of a four-and-a-half-year sentence for sexually abusing two teenage boys.

The sick pervert posed as a casting agent to convince his victims’ mothers to bring them for “auditions” at his flat in Navan, Co Meath, where he abused them.

He has a series of convictions for child pornography here and in Wales and courts deem him so dangerous he is on the sex offenders’ register for life in both countries.

SICKENED

David, who works for the Revenue Commissioners, says he is “sickened” to be mistaken for the predator.

He said: “I never gave any cause for these attacks. I had very serious long-term clinical depression which did not respond to medication or treatment.

“What I was subjected to was truly contemptible during a period when my own health issues were gravely serious.

“I am in the process of selling my apartment because of the attacks and abuse as I could not even consider living in this area one more day than I have to.”
