James Ready to cook on hit series again

ICONIC daytime TV show Ready Steady Cook could be coming back, according to the show’s former chef James Martin.

Martin, 45, who quit as host of BBC’S Saturday Kitchen last year, said he’d love to host the culinary classic if it does resurface.

He added: “It’s only a matter of time, it might be coming back.

“I think I’d give it a go. It’s a great format. People remember that show however old they were.”

Ready Steady Cook ran from 1994 to 2010 on Channel 4 and was fronted by Fern Britton and then Ainsley Harriot
