Driver tests positive for Class A drug

GARDAI have seized a motorist’s car after catching its disqualified driver allegedly under the influence of a Class A drug.

The incident happened in the early hours of yesterday when the driver was stopped at a routine check in Dublin.

Using their recentlyintroduced drug-driving test kits, officers allegedy found cocaine and alcohol in the driver’s system and immediately seized the vehicle.

Taking to Twitter, they also revealed the motorist was a disqualified driver, and had no insurance or NCT certificate for their car.
