Irish star Tara’s shock after being asked to strip off for new movie

IRISH actress Tara Lee has told how she “freaked out” when asked to strip off for a new movie.

The talented 22-year-old’s most recent starring role is in Moon Dogs, a quirky coming-of-age film out now.

Tara had to strip down for a raunchy scene in the movie – but was very clear about her boundaries.

She said: “When we first got the script there was a lot more nudity.

“I was freaking out about what I was going to have to do because I’m not comfortable with full-frontal unless it’s absolutely necessary. But when I spoke to the director about it the only thing he said was, ‘We’re going to be led by you on this’. I just thought that was so cool of him.”

Tara plays aspiring singer called Caitlin who bewitches two stepbrothers, causing tension between them.

She said: “She’s this wild, animalistic chica and she brings them into her world. I massively identified with her when I read the script – she represents a side of me that I wanted to explore.

“She’s a really powerful girl who’s leading the way for the guys and that is so rare in the industry now.”

The Wicklow actress has also appeared in RTE drama Raw, A Date for

NAKED TRUTH Tara Lee Mad Mary and The Fall. Tara revealed she loved working with Co Down heartthrob Jamie Dornan, star of The Fall and the Fifty Shades films. She said: “We had one scene together and we barely got any time to speak but he is a very nice guy, really respectful to everyone and an extremely good actor. It’s great to see him in his element, he’s very natural on set. “I loved The Fall – that was a great milestone in my career.” news@irish mirror.ie
