Boozed-up tourist dies after ‘carjacking spree’

The carjacker then crashed on the main TF-1 motorway.
He tried to steal another car and a motorbike stuck in the traffic jam caused by his crash.
Stunned holidaymakers saw him jump over the central reservation and flee on foot.

Daffurn, from Shotts, in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, and two British friends had arrived to stay in Playa de Las Americas just the day before.
One of the group posted a picture of a bottle of Jagermeister and cans of Red Bull energy drink on social media soon after they checked in.
The caption read: “One hour in, half the bottle gone... roll on the night party time for next five days.”
A friend back in Shotts responded, saying: “Have a great time, please come back in one piece the lot of u.”
Daffurn’s body was found on the wasteland by two tourists.
The Guardia Civil said last night it was still investigating the cause of death. Daffurn’s friends will be interviewed.
The injured woman was treated for cuts in hospital.
