Family saved from sea by hero hound
A DOG called Dave helped rescue a woman and two teenagers from drowning.
Nicola Godliman, 42, her daughter Poppy, 14, and niece Kiera Kerr, 19, were swept out to sea.
Passers-by Guy Jenner, son Tom, 13, and black Labrador Dave plunged in and battled strong currents to save them at Hayling beach near Portsmouth.
Guy, 50, said: “Tom rescued Kiera and Dave swam Nicola all the way back to the beach. Dave’s our little hero and I’m proud of Tom.”
Poppy said: “We were getting dragged backwards. I was screaming and choking on water. Guy saved my life.”
Nicola added: “I’ll never be able to thank them enough. I thought we were going to die.”
