Beale death a ‘fitting end’ admits actor
EASTENDERS actor Aaron Sidwell has reacted to his character Steven Beale’s exit from the soap saying it was “very apt”.
The show’s explosive week ended in dramatic style on Friday night – with Ian’s step-son succumbing to his injuries in hospital.
Steven had raced back into the fire he started at Beales restaurant, believing Lauren was trapped inside, only to be hit by a delayed conscience over his plan to kill Jane.
He died of cardiac arrest – moments after declaring his love for pregnant Abi.
Aaron said: “Steven finds out the girl he’s fallen in love with, who loves him too, is carrying his child.
“It’s everything he’s ever wanted but he doesn’t get to have it. It was very apt.”
