The owner contacted the police the day after the accident and says he was frustrated at Dent and scratches to rear of the Jaguar
having not resolved the issue directly with Laura. He said his claim against her is ongoing.
He has had the damage repaired and hopes to recoup the cost from an insurance payout.
Last night Greater Manchester Police confirmed: “At 10pm on 10th July police were called to reports of a failure to stop after a collision at the Boathouse Inn in Irlam.
“It appears there was a collision between a vehicle and a green Jaguar which was parked. Nobody was injured and Laura in racy swimsuit pic taken from her Facebook page the driver fled the scene.”
Laura has been in the spotlight since Rooney’s arrest early on Friday last week.
The 31-year-old star, who played in Everton’s 3-0 home defeat to Spurs yesterday, apparently met her while partying at a bar near his Cheshire mansion.
The tryst is said to have put his nine-year marriage to Coleen at breaking point.
Laura later told a newspaper the pair had “kissed and cuddled” adding: “Nothing really happened although we would have ended up s ****** g, no doubt.”
Laura’s sister, Eden, 22, disowned her on Facebook, branding her a “f ***** g disgrace.”
She added: “I will never speak to Laura again. The whole family is mortified.”
