Scarlett blasted for taking little sister on holiday in term time

The jungle queen whisked the 11-year-old secondary pupil to New York and posted a string of pictures of their holiday.
She captioned it: “Moffatt sisters on tour.” Her agent John Noel insisted: “Scarlett’s mum obtained permission from her school for Ava’s holiday.”
But the Streetmate star still faced a barrage of criticism for taking the youngster out.
One wrote: “I don’t know if you know but for a schoolchild the weekend starts after school on a Friday.” Another added: “Every day a child misses at school matters and if she’s just started secondary then it’s very important.” Parents can face fines of up to €150 if they take children out of school without permission.
Scarlett, who was on Gogglebox with parents Betty and Mark, from Bishop Auckland, County Durham, had earlier posted snaps of her sister in her new uniform.
The presenter previously came under fire when she gave the child a string of drag queen-themed presents on her 11th birthday.
