€6k for drag cash apology

Fund raisers AN NHS boss who refused a €2,700 donation raised by men in drag has been offered €6,000 to apologise.

Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust chief executive Jan Ditheridge said the “naughty nurse” outfits were “demeaning”.

Colin Wynne-davies, who lives in France but wants to buy a property back home in Ludlow, is offering to double the sum if she now says sorry.

He said he wants “the person responsibl­e for this ridiculous decision to admit they got it wrong”.
