Sinclair shows off an early version of his mini set

Q ACan you tell me a little about a miniature TV set I have – and offer a value? It is the Sinclair Microvision and is just a few inches wide. It came before Sony’s Watchman, though the Sony had early flatscreen technology. This is quite a rare item from the late 1970s and the first-ever multi-standard receiver, so can be used around the world. The later Sinclair 2in pocket TV is also iconic. I think the average price might be close to €165 for a set of 30 in top condition, still boxed. hese cars were a follow-on from the successful Yesteryear models by Matchbox. They first appeared in 1983 and were made by Lledo. In general they are not as sought-after as Dinky toys or perhaps Corgis. Your friend could always take good photos and offer them for sale with a modest reserve and let the market decide the value. Matchbox car
