Murray & Hingis shine

JAMIE MURRAY and Martina Hingis (above) added the US Open mixed doubles title to their Wimbledon crown.

The pair beat Hao-ching Chan and Michael Venus 6-1 4-6 (10-8) yesterday.

Murray hailed Hingis, who won the singles title here 20 years ago, saying: “She’s an amazing player, she’s had such a great career.”

Andy Murray posted a picture of the pair online saying : “Proud little brother.”
