JUVE LIKE VIRGIL IN JANUARY

JUVENTUS are ready to join the race for want-away Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

The Dutchman (below) submitted a transfer request amid interest from Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City, but Saints told the 26-year-old he was going nowhere. But they have been left with a player who no longer wants to play for them.

Juve are searching for a replacement for Leonardo Bonucci and will ask Saints if a deal can be done when the transfer window reopens in January.
