CELTS WARNED: YOU’RE FACING DRAX MURDER

- BY GORDON PARKS

PSG hitman Julian Draxler has warned Celtic to brace themselves for a Champions League explosion against the best strike force on the planet.

The German international believes the arrival of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at the French giants for a combined cost of £364million will wreak a path of destruction across Europe.

Friday night’s 5-1 hammering of Metz saw the pair both find the target as they warmed up for Tuesday night’s clash against the Hoops in ominous fashion.

Draxler who was a mere £35million recruit for PSG last summer insists the duo just a part of an attacking ‘super team’ which is ready to bring shock and awe to the competition this season.

He said: “We certainly got two grenades this summer.

“We have signed Neymar, one of the best players in the world, and with Mbappe we have one of the greatest talents in the world.

“I am proud to be part of this offensive, super team at PSG and I will do my best to get games and help the club deliver a great offensive spectacle.

“I am self-confident enough to face the competition and get involved in such a team.

“When we get to know the guys on the pitch better and I think we will still experience some spectacular things as we hope to go very far in the Champions League.”
