VINCENT KOMPANY’S Manchester City future is in serious jeopardy after the Belgium defender once again decided to put country before club.

Club insiders insisted the club were comfortable about missing out on West Brom’s Jonny Evans, due to Kompany’s return to his imperious best in the first three games of the season.
