MY PERFECT SUNDAY

Rome is the place I’d be. It’s very touristy but amazing.

It’s ideal for walking – there’s so much to see and you get a good workout. I love a destination workout, exercising while learning.

I’m not an early bird. I love to lay and revel in my unbelievable sloth, then get up just as lunch has stopped being served.

I love Italian – artichokes, pasta and all that. So I’d have a big leisurely feed in the middle of the day.

People in Rome really ponder over what they are going to eat. They have so many wonderful traditions.

Sundays are not a great shopping day in Italy but Rome is my favourite place to shop. It’s so OTT.

I bought a crazy pair of hip height white leather stiletto boots there once. Completely impractical for destination workouts.

In reality, Sundays tend to be spent getting an early flight home to LA from wherever I’ve been working to see my partner and son, then a trip to the farmers’ market. All very healthy and urban.
