Fans glad comedy stars are Back

■ Back: Channel 4, 10pm, Wednesday The return of Mitchell and Webb, right, was already high on viewers’ radar before the first episode of Back aired this week. In a similar vein to Peep Show it makes for fairly uncomfortable viewing with plenty of cringe moments and awkward laughs. The series follows failed lawyer Stephen (Mitchell) who is mourning the death of his father and preparing to take over the family firm. Cue the arrival of Webb’s character Andrew, a trickster who was briefly fostered by the family. He then proceeds to worm his way back into their affections much to Stephen’s disapproval. Ths cast includes Sherlock star Louise Brealey and Downton Abbey’s Penny Downie.
