51 squashed inside truck

A TRUCK with 34 adults and 17 children packed inside was stopped by police in Germany near the border with Poland.

All were reported to be dehydrated, thirsty and hungry. They were taken to the nearby town of Frankfurt an der Oder where they were fed and given medical care. Most are said to be from Iraq.

Police said the 46-yearold Turkish driver has been detained on suspicion of human trafficking.
