Reds Kleyn up in Wales

- BY CARL WRIGHT

JEAN KLEYN powered over for a fourth try in three games as Munster claimed a third win of the PRO14 season in Swansea.

In front of 7,302 supporters, Rassie Erasmus’s side recovered from the concession of a James Hook try early on as Kleyn (above) and Darren Sweetnam both crossed for key tries before the interval.

Sam Davies proved reliable from the tee for Ospreys who closed within two points, but Tyler Bleyendaal kicked the clincher four minutes from time.

By the 63rd minute Davies had drilled over a couple of penalties to make it 18-16, and as the playing conditions worsened due to the heavy rain both teams struggled to make their attacking probes pay.

Munster’s scrum regained dominance six minutes from time with a key set-piece victory deep in their own territory, which forced a penalty

Bleyendaal cleared the danger, and when they forced the infringement up the field the same player kicked the penalty to wrap it up.
