MY PERFECT SUNDAY
My perfect Sunday is simple – a relaxed day with family all around.
When I’m not touring, nothing beats taking it easy, being around great people and tasty food!
First off breakfast with my husband and daughter at Banners in London’s Crouch End followed by a stroll at Alexandra Palace (above) – the view’s amazing.
Then we would head to a service at Hillsong Church.
In the late afternoon, we would go over to my parents’ house, it’s always comforting to be back at the house I grew up in.
My brother and his family would be there along with my grandma, aunts, uncles and cousins.
There is always so much laughter and stories and of course, wonderful food definitely some BBQ jerk chicken and plantain there.
Not forgetting the perfect music selection on vinyl from my dad. The room is filled with so much love. I find it is always a great time to share experiences and reflect on my musical journeys.
My family are a wonderful support.
