Floods hell in ravaged Rico

LOCALS in hurricane-struck Puerto Rico wade through water in the calm after the storm that left at least 12 dead.

Liz Maries Bultron and neighbour Alana Bepizarro consoled each other in the town of Loiza after Hurricane Maria struck.

Elsewhere on the Caribbean island 70,000 were being evacuated from homes downstream from the Guajataca Dam.
