Craig’s blow shows the Rev hasn’t got a prayer

-

BY SCARLET HOWES THE Reverend Richard Coles went from Strictly heaven to hell when judge Craig Revel Horwood awarded him just TWO points last night.

Fans were thrilled by the Rev’s routine on week one of the BBC dance contest.

But the judges gave him 17 points out of 40 – including Craig’s measly two. The 55-year-old was even labelled the “worst dancer in Strictly history” by a show insider before he took to the stage.

He is rated as a huge 66-1 outsider by bookies but survives at least until next week, when the public vote.

JLS star Aston Merrygold, 29, was top of the leaderboard on 31 points, while fellow former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, 29, impressed too.

She burst into tears after her dance as the stress of losing her mum Melissa Bell, 53, last month took a toll.

Melissa, who sang with Soul2soul, died after a kidney failure battle.
