Pulis: So sorry Jake

TONY PULIS admitted he should have kept quiet over Jake Livermore’s long break.

The midfielder will return at Arsenal tomorrow after extra time off as his summer was broken by England duty.

Livermore also posted on social media to ease fans’ fears and said the break was to rest. There were concerns because in 2015 he escaped a ban over cocaine used as he struggled with his new-born son’s death.

And Pulis (above) said: “Saying he was tired mentally and physically, maybe I should have said he had a hamstring injury and that would have stopped all the speculation.”
