Jurgen’s world is brighter

- BY RALPH ELLIS

JURGEN KLOPP says his Liverpool team are ready to take off.

He emerged from a week that has seen him coming under pressure to grab a win courtesy of goals from Mo Salah (above), Phillippe Coutinho and Jordan Henderson.

Klopp said: “We really think we are on a good way, although we’re aware we must to show it with results.

“Why? Because we play good football, because we do a lot of things that you do when the world is coming together.

“Yes we have things we can do better, but we have a group who like to work together.”

Leicester fought back twice and almost nicked a point, only to see Jamie Vardy’s late penalty saved.

Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare said: “Of course we and Jamie are disappointed not to score a penalty, but he’ll score next time.”
