I was left with facial scarring and muscle damage after an accident 15 years ago.

Then, as I aged, my face started to look uneven.

I work in the beauty industry and had heard about FAMI (Facial Autologous Muscular Injection), where stem cells from fatty tissue are injected into your face to help create volume. In June 2015 I had the twohour procedure under local anaesthetic at Dr Roger Amar’s clinic in Marbella.

There was swelling initially and just a few bruises.

Over the last year it has developed well. I have symmetry again and, as this picture shows, I look like me when I was younger.
