Crew die in plane crash

A MILITARY cargo plane crashed in Congo’s capital Kinshasa yesterday killing dozens of Russian crew.

The Antonov transport plane had just taken off and had “several dozen people” on board.

The plane went down in Nsele, about 100km to the east of Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

N’djili Airport director George Tabor said: “There was a crash of a cargo plane. It’s a military plane.”
