Theme park toddler hurt in ride crash

Kiddie ride at park A TODDLER was hurt when a ride broke down at one of Britain’s biggest theme parks.

Lisa Brown, 35, said her one-year-old niece Bonnie bumped her head and had a badly bruised lip when their car rammed into the back of another.

Lisa’s daughter Lilley, two, and the one-year-old daughter of a family friend were badly shaken on the Tiny Truckers ride at Chessingto­n World of Adventures, Surrey.

Lisa, of nearby Chertsey, said: “The truck got struck in front of us. We went into the back of it. There was an almighty bang.”

A Chessingto­n spokeswoma­n said: “There was a low-level collision. All guests involved were seen by our first-aid team. Our engineers found no fault.”
