I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had two invasive tumours which were removed, along with my lymph nodes.

I just wanted the tumour removed, even if that meant losing my breasts. But I was told I was eligible for a procedure which would eliminate the need for a mastectomy.

Breast surgeon Mrs Fawzia Crosbie removed the tumour while plastic surgeon Dan Marsh of The Plastic Surgery Group reduced and lifted both breasts so that they matched in size. The op at London’s Royal Free took them from a G cup to a B-C, which I was happy with. I had radiotherapy and now that I’m better I’m so grateful. This procedure saved my life and preserved my femininity.
