PAUL DUNNE is just one shot off the lead at the British Masters after carding a superb round of 65 yesterday.
Rory Mcilroy (above) and Shane Lowry are just one shot behind that again. Offaly ace Lowry shrugged off his poor form of late to hit a 64 yesterday.
Rory Mcilroy produced his lowest European Tour score in over two years with a sizzling six-under par 64 on day three at Close House in Newcastle and is within striking distance of leader Robert Karlsson.
“I felt today I got the most out of my round as I scrambled well when I needed to,” he said. “It was nice as I gave myself plenty of chances and it is always nice to be bogeyfree, as well. The crowds out there were brilliant today.”
