Kit and Rose stroll hand in hand to the shops Rebecca & Summer The two-year-old showed none of the skills of her mum – who won the 400m and 800m freestyle in 2008 – or pro-swimmer dad Harry Needs, 25. “She has no swimming ability, bless her,” laughs Rebecca, 28. “She’s awful. We take her for lessons and her legs go everywhere. Her arms are all over the place. She’s got no co-ordination.
“But she absolutely loves the water – that’s the main thing. She has such a Rose carrying a bag laugh. She loves jumping in and has no fear. I’d love her to be part of sport but I see her doing something like gymnastics.”
Despite splitting with Harry, the pair co-parent Summer. “I just love her more every day,” she says. “We have such a close relationship. Motherhood changed me.
“I work three days a week and the rest of the time I’m with her.”
Rebecca was a finalist on Celebrity Masterchef 2017 and promotes Lovepork.
