Emmerdale Joe: I’d grave concerns
Emmerdale star Joe Gill was taken aback when production crew contacted him before his final scenes as Finn Barton – and asked him his height.
He said 5ft 10in, then realised they wanted to know so they could get his coffin size. Finn was shot dead by his mum in dramatic scenes last week.
Joe, 23, said of seeing his coffin on set: “It was a weird, out-of-body experience. In no other job would you get to see your own coffin, funeral or grave!”
Joe had to keep Finn’s fate secret and said his mum and nan were reduced to tears by the plot.
