Jon won’t go figure

- BY DARREN FULLERTON

WEST BROM defender Jonny Evans says he couldn’t care less what valuation is placed on his head.

Many baulked at the idea of Manchester City spending £30million on the 29-year-old in the summer.

In the end, Evans stayed at the Hawthorns as the move to the Etihad failed to materialise.

And he insists he didn’t feel undervalued when the merits of paying big bucks for a Northern Ireland centre-back were being discussed.

“Not at all – it’s hard to judge your own value,” he said.

“I never look at figures and think I’m worth this or that. I just let things take their course.”
