Rocker in €20,000 auction bid for VIP ‘ringside seat’ at Mass

Rod, an avid supporter of Scottish club Celtic, made the winning bid at an auction for a “very rare” chance to spend time with the Pontiff. And the 72-year-old said he now “can’t wait” to attend a Papal Mass as a special guest. Rod, said to worth around €200million, snapped up the Celtic fan Rod chance to meet the Pope at an auction in aid of Pinktober with Hard Rock Heals, the annual breast cancer drive.
