Blanchett: My chaotic life as working mum
GLORY DAYS With Heineken Cup Blanchett CATE Blanchett has admitted she finds being a working mother the hardest job of all.
The 48-year-old, who is married to playwright Andrew Upton, also revealed her household can be “chaotic”.
The Oscar winner has three sons – Dashiell, 15, 13-year-old Roman and Ignatius, nine – and a twoyear-old daughter Edith.
She added: “Motherhood has given me a greater degree of patience.
“I’m a more compassionate person so it’s been a good gift.
“But my life is no different to any other working mother’s. You don’t get a lot of sleep. You try to juggle things, it doesn’t always work, but I have a supportive partner.’’ The Cluetts
