Football farce as 10 see red

A GAA match descended into farce yesterday after 10 players were sent off.

Ref Noel Mckenna dished out five straight red cards and five doubleyellows in the Leinster Intermediate Football Championship game.

Eleven-man O’connell’s of Castlebelligham, Co Louth, beat visitors Kilbride of Co Carlow – reduced to nine – by 2-10 to 1-8 at the Grove.

Two Maor Uisce were also sent off the sideline.
