Football dad tells of telly brawl shame

A FOOTIE fan seen on live TV brawling at a match while clutching his threeyear-old son last night admitted: “I’m ashamed.”

The dad said he feared his ex-partner would ban access to his kids.

He claimed he got carried forward by other spectators as his team Everton lost 2-1 to Lyon.

He said: “I put my son in a dangerous position but I’d been too concentrated on screaming my passionate abuse at the players for being sh**.”

Everton say they will ban him for life. He hit back: “I’m not going back, they’re a shower of sh**.”

Merseyside Police said a man aged 30 from Knowsley had attended a police station voluntarily before being released pending further enquiries on Friday.
