RAMS HAIL SUPER MAC
THE last time the Los Angeles Rams had a winning season, Sean Mcvay was approaching his 18th birthday.
Fourteen years later, Mcvay (right) is the youngest head coach in modern NFL history and – with four wins in six games – he has given Rams’ fans the belief that the dark days are over.
Defensive end Michael Brockers said: “When your coach is 31 years old, he has that swagger. We’re all vibing together. This is a brotherhood. We’re bonding really well with these trips.
“The swagger is really confidence. It comes from the confidence of preparing well all week.
“You can call it swagger but it’s swagger with a little bit of confidence.”
Mcvay, whose team take on Arizona Cardinals at Twickenham tonight (Sky Sports Action, KO 6pm), said: “We’ve got a great group of men in that locker room. There’s an approach we want to take where it’s very business-like but you can still have fun. “We’ve got a lot of confident individuals but there’s a great challenge ahead with the Arizona Cardinals coming off a big win against Tampa.”
