SANCHEZ: BIG GAMES INSPIRE ME

DAVINSON SANCHEZ believes the big-game mentality he has brought to Tottenham will be a huge advantage in the club’s pursuit of glory in the Premier League and the Champions League.

Sanchez (left) has slotted comfortably into the back three tactic often employed by manager Mauricio Pochettino this season alongside Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.

Sanchez, who is looking forward to facing Liverpool at Wembley today, said: “Having that winning mentality helped me and has improved my performances.

“It’s very important for me to maintain that mentality. This game is very special because both teams have big players who can win games.

“Liverpool have great players, but it is important to think about us first.”
