Southgate slam Dunk

LEWIS DUNK is in line for his first England call-up in the prestige internationals against Germany and Brazil next month.

The 25-year-old has impressed England boss Gareth Southgate with his performances in central defence for newly promoted Brighton.

And he excelled again as Brighton defeated West Ham 3-0 on Friday.

Southgate is considering giving Dunk his chance as he prepares for next year’s World Cup in Russia.

The manager wants options to cope with any loss of form or injuries to his regular selections.

Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere – now fit and approaching his best – is also a squad contender.
