10 dead after suicide bomb at VIPS’ hotel
TERRORIST bombs killed at least 10 people and wounded eight more in the capital of Somalia.
The first blast in Mogadishu yesterday came when a suspected suicide car bomber drove into a hotel popular with politicians and VIPS.
It was followed by a second blast near the former parliament house.
The attacks follow a massive lorry bombing two weeks ago, which killed more than 350 people.
The extremist group al-shabab has been targeting high-profile areas of Mogadishu. The US military has carried out nearly 20 drone strikes on the terror group this year.
