Outrage over arson attack at graveyard
Milltown Cemetery PARENTS have been urged to intervene after the gates of a graveyard were set on fire.
Local youths have been blamed for Friday’s incident at Milltown Cemetery in West Belfast.
Sinn Fein MP Paul Maskey said traffic cones and a wheelie bin had been placed behind the gates and set alight.
He added: “I’m calling on parents to stop kids from hanging about the park and graveyard at night.
“I’m sure those responsible have relatives in Milltown like many of us.
“This is disgusting behaviour and I will be meeting with agencies to try and get a resolution to this problem.”
