Arson attack in mining row

EXTRA troops have been deployed in northern Brazil after hundreds of armed men set alight several offices belonging to environmental agencies.

The attack took place in the Amazon town of Humaita on Friday.

It was reportedly carried out by gold prospectors in revenge for a recent raid on an illegal operation.
