Blindboy RUBBERBANDITS star Blindboy Boatclub has warned of the challenges social media brings for young people.
The Limerick native admitted it was “a brilliant thing” but stressed the importance of educating young people about the problems it may present.
Speaking on The Late Late Show he said he felt it was “more difficult” now for young people to deal with anxiety.
He added: “I think social media is a brilliant thing - I love social media; but it does present new challenges.
“With social media you can construct your ideal self perfectly like a brand and that is one of the issues around social media.”
