Pals raise €58k to bring body home after DJ tragedy in Oz

- BY DAVID MAHER

FRIENDS of an Irishman who died in Australia have come together to raise money to bring his body home.

Anthony “Skinner” O’sullivan, 33, from Killarney, Co Kerry, passed away in his sleep last Sunday in Sydney.

Pals of the DJ banded together and launched a Gofundme page to help with repatriation and burial costs. And kind-hearted donors have already almost doubled the €30,000 target, with more than €58,000 already being raised. A post said: “This page has been set up to help raise much needed funds to bring Anthony home to rest and also to donate to a very worthy charity, The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.” This fund was set up by a bereaved family in Ireland to help those whose loved ones die abroad.
