Nowhere Fast gets ready for the off

-

NEW RTE comedy Nowhere Fast starts tomorrow night and that could be just where it’s heading if it doesn’t grab viewers from the off. The six-part series written by and starring Alison Spittle, right, might best be described as having the Marmite factor – you’ll either love it or hate it. The show deals with life in rural Ireland as seen through the eyes of millennial Angela (Spittle) after a disastrous bid at a career in media in the “big schmoke”. It has an impressive cast list including Red Rock star Cathy Belton and Mark Doherty (Fr Ted, Moone Boy) as well as cameos from George Hook and former Republic of Telly star Kevin Mcgahern.
