CYCLING GB’S golden greats

IT was a golden night for Great Britain at the Track World Cup in Manchester.

The men’s pursuit team of Steven Burke, Kian Emadi, Ed Clancy and Ollie Wood beat the Danes by 5.688sec in their final. And they were followed by Katie Archibald and Elinor Barker in the Madison.

Archibald (left) and Barker had a six-point lead over world champions Belgium going into the final race and held on for glory.
