Eds could roll after limp win

-

ENGLAND made a limp start to their autumn series but will enter their group showdown against Argentina at the 2019 Wold Cup with an immaculate record against the Pumas under Eddie Jones.

It was among the worst performances under the Australian as – having established a 14-3 half-time lead – they only moved out of sight in the final 15 minutes when Semesa Rokoduguni crossed.

Nathan Hughes’ firsthalf try (left) had given them a foundation that they struggled to build on, Rokoduguni’s third international try with 14 minutes left finally easing home nerves.

It was a fourth win in a row in the fixture ahead of tests against Australia and Samoa.
