PERFECT SUNDAY

- By Katie Piper

Ideally I’d be on holiday somewhere sunny like Dubai or Portugal, but that wouldn’t be too much fun now I’m heavily pregnant.

So I’d be happy waking up at home with my daughter Belle joining me and my husband Richie in bed. I wouldn’t start my Sunday any other way.

Ideally I’d have breakfast in bed but I’m usually first up as I don’t need too much sleep. I’m trying to eat healthily at the moment and get lots of protein and nutrients for my baby, who is due after Christmas. I snack on boiled eggs – and cream cakes! You need a little treat.

In the afternoon, we’d go for a walk in the forest, stopping to feed the ducks and get ice cream. Then back for a meal, maybe a mushroom stir-fry. My husband is an amazing cook.

Afterwards we’d watch TV together. Belle is obsessed with Moana and it’s so funny listening to her singing along.

If I wasn’t pregnant, I’d have a G&T but I’ll be drinking a green smoothie before an early night. ■ Tickets for Katie’s theatre tour, What’s In My Head, are available at venue box offices and Katie’s website katiepiperandyou.co.uk
